Room was clean with everything I needed. Comfortable beds, pillows and linens. They are making improvements which is great but that means construction in the building. Water dispenser was not working . Front desk person was great and ran and got me hot water for tea when it ran out.

One elevator not working, long waits. Busy signals when I called guess services. Laundry machine not working. Guess services, which didn’t exist, could have informed me of the laundry location and that the washer was not working but I waited at elevators carrying laundry around to find it was a total waste of time. No continental breakfast. Restaurant on site $15-20. for breakfast.

The hotel was 'ok'. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Our King Size bedroom was adequate. Wish the refrigerator had a freezer section. The restaurant was out of steak (not sure how that happens at 6:00 pm in the evening). It also doesn't allow substitutions (i.e. change brussel sprouts for broccoli). That being said the food we did eat was very good. One of the two elevators was not working, which made the wait longer.The pool was not accessible for maintenance. It was very small and green.

Bathroom: toilet paper holder falling off the wall. Grout was dirty. Caulk was poorly maintained and installed. Shower head was held into position by a bandaid. Outdated shower enclosure. Poorly lighted. Tiny bar of soap so we went into town to buy some. Bedroom, when you paint you take down curtain as not to get paint on it, linen was no as clean as expected. Chargers didn’t work. It’s a very outdated setup. The view was nice but when you pay a lot of kk why to rent a room, you expect better quality. Only a single elevator operated. My dinnner salad had little flavor. Sometime food is so good you don’t want to eat outside the hotel. We ventured out. The curiosity coffee was ok. Sorry for a bad review but I’d never stay there again.

The hotel is in a great location-the view of the lake can’t be beat and we walked to every restaurant we ate at. The facilities were very clean and the staff friendly. One big issue is that only one elevator was working. That meant there was always a long wait to get on or people needed to use the stairs, sometimes with quite a bit of luggage. The bed in our room was also VERY firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. This led to us not feeling rested while we stayed there. A little TLC of the facilities would make a world of difference.

This was a nice property with a great view. There were some cosmetic issues such as a hole in the wall where they repaired bathroom pipes. Some of the old bathroom fixtures need replacing. Shower handle came off but was easily fixable. The AC was limited and a bit stuffy but in room, but overall nice accommodations. Just not 5 star. Beds were comfortable. We would stay again if in the area as the lakefront location was very nice.

The location on the lake was nice. The room was spacious but dirty. The bathroom had rusty areas in the shower and tile grout. The restaurant was cleaner. We had a nice breakfast and server (Jackie) was excellent. The location is so nice but could be kept cleaner.

This could be a 5 star property if they put some money into updating it. The rooms were spacious, but the bed was very LOW to the floor. The furniture was positioned so the TV was to your back. The lighting in the bathroom was too dim. I found no hairdryer in the bathroom. There were only 2 bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. One elevator was out of service and the only other elevator was very slow. The outdoor area needs furniture cleaned. The landscaping could use weeding and updated.

Pros: our room was right by the lake (of course) with a lovely view out the door. The staff were all very cheerful and friendly to us, and set up a roll-out bed in our room quickly when we asked for an extra. They also gave us extra towels and blankets when we needed them. The hallways of the main building were well-maintained and clean. Cons: the reason why we needed new blankets was because two of ours had brown stains on it, and the curtains had some staining as well.

They have a problem with seagulls, there are droppings and feathers everywhere. There was a lot of trash outside, I noticed a coffee cup sitting on top of a trash can for 3 days. I reserved a lake front room and the room window was filthy with droppings and feathers. Our room was clean and comfortable, but there is a reason why you stay at a lake front hotel, and this one has dropped the ball on a clean pleasant lakefront experience.

Das Hotel sieht in Natura nicht so schön aus wie auf den Bildern im Internet und ist in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoß hatte zwar Blick auf dem See, jedoch konnte man sich nicht auf die "Terrasse" setzten, da eine Menge Müll (leere Flaschen, Handtücher und Schmutz) rumlagen und der Rasen verschmutzt von Vogelkot und Federn war. Auf dem Weg zum Restaurant lagen Vogelfedern auf den Teppichen und von den Gästen abgestelltes Geschirr rum. Das Bad war recht sauber und ordentlich. Die Klimaanlage war jedoch so laut und stoß so viel Luft direkt auf die Betten aus, dass wir sie ausschalten mussten. Die Waschmaschinen waren gerade defekt und konnte leider nicht genutzt werden. Ich frage mich, wie dieses Hotel in 2023 einen Award gewinnen konnte. Insgesamt war es das schlechteste Hotel auf unserer 4 wöchigen Rundreise durch die Neuengland Staaten. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen.

The hotel is showing its age. The price per room was quite expensive for the condition of the hotel and its amenities. It is very well located in walking distance to Geneva downtown, but I did not feel there was value for money.

For the rate of 600$ a night, I would have expected a hotel that is in better shape. Floor with cardboard taped, one elevator functioning only, paint on walls in bad shape, basic and very average customer service. Not to be recommended for future stay. Hampton Inn would have been a better choice.
