The property itself was exactly what I was expecting. The room was lovely, spacious, soft bed and linens. Disappointed the pool was not heated. Our first morning house keeping woke us at 8am, still sleeping from our 2am travels the day before. She never came back, keep in mind your paying a $50 a day resort fee, $20 for house keeping services, and an addition $5 for some local fee. At breakfast the female server was rude and uninviting, Please keep in mind, this resort is now credit card only, absolutely no cash transactions, with an auto gratuity on every transaction. Next dinner, I wanted the Lobster, but they were out. They were also out of the next item I requested. This is very common on this Island. I ordered a Caesar salad for $19.80 and was given a side salad. The table on the balcony got salads 4x the size of mine. When I shared my frustration with the front desk the next morning, the manager refunded the salad, they printed me a receipt, only to have them red-add the charge back on at check out. I did not review my bill at this time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEFORE LEAVING THE PROPERETY. We loved all the bartenders. The boat driver who took us to the beach bar every day was so kind. He shared lots of information, and assisted all the guests on and off the boat....make sure to throw him $$. Verify all cost before getting in a taxi, bait and switch on arrival. Also they had no medical kit, almost got hit bar a speeding car. Bought a VODKA shot to clean my wounds.
