“My room features a kitchen equipped with an oven, a living room with a comfortable sofa, a TV, and a dining table. The bathroom is large and modern. There's also a second TV in the bedroom, both of which can sync with my iPad—perfect for cozy movie nights. The location is very convenient, being close to the train station and right next to the exhibition centre. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it a fantastic place to stay.”

“This accommodation may not suit every type of traveler.
Starting with the positives:
Firstly, the room’s amenities were quite good, the room was clean and tidy upon arrival.
Secondly, the guesthouse is located close to Bonn’s city center.
However, there were a few challenges:
First, upon arrival, there was no staff to greet us, so we were unsure how to enter. Thankfully, another guest helped us enter the building and our room.
Second, we had to park quite a distance away and carry our luggage……

“Wir waren Anfang Juli dort und haben mit 9 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern von 1- 8 Jahren ein Familienwochenende verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sauber. In jedem Zimmer sogar ein großer Fernseher, von denen wir aber keinen eingeschaltet haben, da im Haus keine Langeweile aufkam. Für ein Familienwochenende sehr zu empfehlen!!@”

“When booking the property, I specifically asked that we (2 guests) are provided an extra bedding as we prefer sleeping warm. We were never provided it, despite multiple follow-ups with the manager (who even promised we would get it). ´
Also, the website indicates regular cleaning and during 1 week stay, the apartment was neither cleaned nor have we received fresh towels, toilet paper etc.
We were explained by the manager that regular means once a week.

I recently stayed at IBIS budget hotel and was very disappointed with my experience. Unfortunately, there were a few aspects of the hotel that made my stay less than satisfactory.
Firstly, I was surprised to find out that the hotel required a deposit for the use of a hairdryer. This seemed unusual to me, as hairdryers are a standard amenity in most hotels. Additionally, the bathroom lacked any sort of curtain or door, which made it quite awkward and uncomfortable for my family. This lack of privacy was a major inconvenience and made the bathroom feel very exposed.
Finally, the room itself was incredibly small, with barely enough space to move around. This made it difficult to unpack and relax, and it felt quite cramped, especially with my family.
Overall, I would not recommend IBIS budget hotel for families or anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The lack of privacy in the bathroom, the deposit required for a hairdryer, and the cramped room made for a disappointing experience.
