“This hotel has been in business for many years. The old original building had nice architectural things like hand laid wood parquet flooring, funky old bathtubs. Nice art on the walls. Clean crisp linens. Breakfast included. Restaurant has nice selection of foods, well prepared. Staff very professional, helpful, cheerful. This is our go-to hotel when we need to be in Accra. ”
“We were able to upgrade to a breakfast and AC which made it nice. The doors to the bathroom didn’t close. Periodically there was a smell like sewage in the hallways, but it was only a smell. The beds were clean. The floors were clean. The bathroom does not get hot water. But most places there don’t. We did not try the pool, but just know the public can come there to swim during the day. It also cost 15 cedi per day to swim. Security was okay. There is a taxi hub nearby which is nice. ……
“DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!! The owner/manager is a horrible/rude person. I do not know where the miscommunication happened, Expedia or misrepresented by the owner/manager, but the owner/manager was extremely rude while trying to figure out what happened to our reservation. His words...don't bother coming at all...so we did not. Unfortunate because we were really looking forward to our stay. We travel to Ghana frequently and this was the first time ever we had trouble with any stays. BEWARE. ”
“There was a problem on arrival because Expedia had not advised them I was coming and had not paid them although they had received money from me.
Internet there worked well the first day and then was out of action until I left”
“It’s a lovely place however don’t book on Expedia as they won’t accept your reservation even though you have been billed for it. I had the experience and had to pay psychical cash to lodge there..however Expedia was kind to refund my money back to my card . It’s clean and safe that I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Accra .”
