“A great place for a family stay in downtown Amherst. ”

“We had such a nice time relaxing here. Very easy to let ourselves in. Incredibly clean place with everything you need. But the best part? The ability to watch horses play from your living room window. We spent a lot of time waking around the grounds saying hello to all of the beautiful horses. There are trails on the property too that we took advantage of. And the hosts are very attentive to any needs, though we didn't really need anything. “This home was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. Great for a family getaway. There were a couple of issues with the home but our host was very responsive and accommodating. He had contacted me prior to our visit regarding these issues. There was tile dust all over the place, a cleaner was there but didn’t do a great job. Despite that we had a great time.”

“We took our Mom away for the weekend and enjoyed an evening at the Salem Cross Inn. Accommodations were nice despite the cold weather. We found the parking to be a little tricky in winter conditions due to the hill. The bedrooms were comfort and we enjoyed the ping pong table. Plenty of room around the diningroom table for games and snacking in addition to meals. Kitchen tools need updating as well as pillows, blankets and ping pong paddles. Plenty of hot water for multiple showers. Porches……

“The property is beautiful and exactly as pictured. So much to do and such a lovely location on the lake. I wish we had been here in summer, it’s got to be spectacular. Hot tub was well cared for. Snow removal was good. Beds were comfy. Lots of dishes pots and pans. Does not include cooking supplies like oil or seasonings or cooking spray, just fyi. Awesome that we didn’t have to strip beds!
