“PROS: spacious comfortable room, very comfortable bed. very nice lobby and the staff is friendly. Decent breakfast although varying quality of coffee. CONS: the pool didn’t seem so clean/appealing to swim in. The beach area of the hotel is constantly occupied by boats and very small. When asked for help to get to another island, the staff always pushed for us to book a private boat and didnt ‘seem to know’ about the other options…quite surprising given how small the island is. “Nice private villas in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the north and west side of the island with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Staff here very friendly and helpulful. Earplugs a requirment (provided at the villa) for the very early morning call to prayer from the Mosque. I am sure this will aplly to any accomodation on the island. “If you are going to Gili stay here. Its located in the middle of the island and with complementary bikes and easy 5 minute ride will get you everywhere.
