Worse Vrbo experience EVER!
We first arrived and had trouble finding the keys to get it. No service to call owner to verify where they are. Got in finally and house smelled a little musty but figured its just an old house... Bathroom light didn't work. Left to get some things , came back started to unpack and relized there was no hot water, come to find out there was no propane for cooking or hotwater! Then after looking around, found mold on all the kitchen cabinet doors, fridge, range and range vent hood, in the crockpot, and throughout the house all the way to the last bedroom on the dressers! Called owner, he is not from town, said he didnt "know" what to do about the propane issue and couldn't believe about the mold issue... Oh yeah no cell service either so in order to make a call you have to use the internet to get a call out and the internet suxs too. The owner and Vrbo people i was trying to talk to that night could only hear every other word. (So frustrating when you are already frustrated about the situation!) It ended up being midnight when we left the property and went to find a hotel for out 17 night stay we had booked with this property! Ugh... eventually we did get a full refund with the help of Vrbo. The house could be nice but i would not recommend it until they so some serious renovations and put a dehumidifier in the home and replace all the beds and carpets! back
