Avoid at All Costs! The Arbuckle Hotel is a Nightmare!
If I could give zero stars, I would. My stay at The Arbuckle Hotel was an absolute disaster from the moment I walked into my room. At first glance, everything seemed fine—until I opened the closet and found a dead mouse just lying there. Disgusted, I immediately went down to the front desk and requested that someone remove it and have housekeeping clean the room. Nothing happened.
After waiting far too long, I had to rely on a friend to remove the dead rodent myself. Still no sign of housekeeping. Frustrated, I went back down to the front desk to ask again, but at this point, I had lost all hope in their customer service. Instead, I was handed a vacuum and disinfectant wipes—yes, you read that right—I was left to clean my own room.
But the nightmare didn’t end there. After I cleaned up as best as I could, I went to pull out the sofa bed for my daughters—only to discover mouse droppings scattered all over it and a dirty sheet still on the bed! That was the final straw. Not only was this hotel filthy beyond words, but they also refused to take responsibility for it. I packed up my daughters immediately and left, desperate to find a place that wasn’t crawling with filth. Thankfully, the Wingate had one last room available, and we escaped this absolute health hazard of a hotel.
The Arbuckle Hotel is a disgrace. They did NOTHING to fix the situation, and their complete lack of cleanliness and customer service is appalling.
