“This was a great place to stay. The location on the river was perfect. There were cascades straight out from cabin that made beautiful river sounds that could be heard from the screened in porch. We had deer come really close to the porch, looking for a handout, I think.Terry and Cathy”

“My sister and I had such a relaxing trip. The cabin was FANTASTIC! The homey feel amd thoughtful decor made for a very comfortable stay. There.were many little extra lime spices in the cabinet, hot tub towels and even soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. Our host was responsive to questions and quick to respond when we had a small issue with.the srove not working properly. I highly recommended staying at Cameo Cottage. ”

“This property is AMAZING! Everything you could want for a weekend away for 1 or 2 people. We spent a whole day just sitting in the creek with our camp chairs. The property is next to a road so you aren't totally isolated and we actually found it comforting that other people would drive by every so often. The backyard and creek though are away from the road so you have privacy when you are outside. Hot tub is great. They provide plenty of towels. Easy to use the TV and kitchen appliances. Shower……

“Deer outside every morning and night was awesome. Couldn’t use fire pit outside because of dry windy weather. Very cute and clean cabin. Perfect for our family of 5. Except there is only one shower. Two bathrooms one downstairs has shower sink and toilet. The one upstairs has only toilet and sink. The downstairs bathroom has heated floors which is awesome but it’s small so the positioning of the toilet nd sink is akward. You can rest your chin on the sink while you sit down to pee. ”

“The Treehouse is really just amazing! The place is clean, well kept and feels so cozy. Sitting up in the trees while still being so close the the town of Ellijay was just perfect for what we were looking for. The driveway was a little intimidating with a 2 wheel vehicle but we easily solved that by leaving our vehicle at the bottom across the road. We hike/bike a lot so walking up and down wasn't an issue for us once we unloaded upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again!!”

“My husband and I booked this rental for our 15 year anniversary. We are from Florida and don’t get to venture north much. It was important for us to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy a change of scenery. This was the answer. We were blown away with the property and the views. The smell of cedar in the air really allows you to hone in on your home away from home. The location of the treehouse in proximity to town is unheard of for the secludedness of the treehouse. Driveway……

“Area was great - road to cabin was paved or gravel at end and good to drive on. Couch was not comfortable - old and in need of replacement for true comfort. Beds were comfy and porch was great. Kitchen adequate but stated their was a coffee grinder so we brought whole beans only to find no grinding machine. Guide to TV usage should be better for those who are not familiar with Roku TV.”

“House was just as described. Very clean and quiet area. Short drive in to town. Driveway is a little hard to maneuver with a full sized truck but manageable. ”

“The arrival instructions need to change. There is a much easier way to get to the address. Also didnt know about the gate house, stumbled apon that after getting lost in the park. We checked in with the guard. The contact ended up having to come drive us to the cabin because we couldnt find it. The cabin was nice, comfy, clean. Had all items you need. Didnt give it an excellent rating due to instructions. We wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out.”
