“We very much enjoyed our stay at the Elgin Hotel. Our deluxe room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It also had a nice view. We loved the Victorian style of the main building where the reception, bar, lounge and library are located. All the rooms including the dining room were tastefully decorated. “We chose this hotel for its colonial history and it mef all our expectations. We had dinner in their restaurant, and although the place was quiet (only one other table was occupied) the food was delicious and the service was excellent.”

Although the property is on the main road, the rooms are very quiet - especially ones facing away from the road. Overall we enjoyed the stay and will definitely recommend this hotel. ”

“Sinclares Resort is such a gem! The entire property is meticulously maintained and nicely decorated with beautiful landscaping. The premium room is spacious and bedding is clean and comfortable. They provide you with a heater during winter time so the room is plenty warm. The best part is the hot shower which is so much better compared to other equally expensive hotels we stayed across India. You can take a really comfortable shower without worrying about the hot water running out in the middle……

“ The property location is bang within the town, which makes it convenient for a lazy stroll down the spiralling roads to the market areas in the evenings. The property was very well maintained and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was good and so was the spa. Since it was our first time there we enjoyed thoroughly. Since we went during the pre monsoon time it was mostly foggy and it made difficult and pointless to venture out to view points where the views would be obscured……
