“We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Costabella and were genuinely impressed. Although it’s a three-star hotel, it exceeded our expectations and felt much closer to a four-star experience. The hotel is clearly investing in continuous renovations and upgrades, and it really shows — the rooms are modern, clean, and well-equipped, and the landscaping around the pool area is beautifully maintained, making it a great spot to relax. “Great historic building updated to feel sophisticated, modern, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast, the bar and cocktail areas were great too. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location is right in the heart of the old city so it was a bit noisy at night but that was a small price to pay for such a lovely hotel.”

“There was noise from the internal air circulation system and the cars ran through. It is very hard for us to sleep.”

“Hair strings on pillows and bed sheet. Mini fridge was broken with a mouldy ice tray inside. Housekeeper entered without knocking at all at 10am. Coffee never got refilled after the first night. ”
