“The decor of the cottage was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was also really good very near the beach, park, shops and cafes etc. Parking was easy right outside. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed lovely walks along the promenade. A few minor tweaks needed to make this a top class stay. Hairdryer and remote control not working correctly - both need replaced. Sofa was not very comfortable cushions were flat and worn. Light/ torch……

“We stayed here for 5 nights and were greeted by a lovely card with details of local events. Communication was excellent and the hosts were lovely local people, we had easy access if we required any assistance. Access to the property was simple as was parking. This gorgeous little two bedroom apartment had everything we needed for our stay, it felt like home rather than a hotel. The property is tastefully decorated and spacious it’s well equipped. I personally loved the peace listening to the waves at night, drinking coffee outside watching the sun coming up, long walks on the beach with the dogs. There is a small cafe across the road from the property. Arbroath about 6 miles away so shop before you arrive. A perfect getaway property……

“Impressive very spacious, comfortable house pretty much as described set in a large garden.9 adults and 3 children but we all found plenty of space to interact without getting in each others way . Hotub proved to be a good source of relaxation after a long day .Plenty of places easily reached nearby for daytime walks. Local pub , the Strathy Inn and Bankfoot Inn were both good choices for meals .”

“This is a small flat in a residential block that provides good, basic accommodations with a Tesco nearby. We were a family of 5 adults, in a transit van, touring Scotland. The on-street parking with a van was difficult due to all the local residents’ vehicles. The host was very responsive to communication and we had no issues that warranted action on their part. ”

Amenities as described, we were disappointed at the lack of toiletries as the cute toiletry bottles were one of the deciders between this flat and one of similar price. “Right from the initial booking where I had excellent communication from Gillian, the owner, I knew this was going to be a great stay and it did not disappoint. The cottage is on a quiet estate, very easy to get to and the instructions were spot on. The cottage itself was immaculate.
