It’s a pretty new property, it has ping-pong and failure table, a large space with couches, a nice bar and restaurant, it has a hipster vibe, which is pretty cool, the staff is super friendly, they are echo friendly, and their key is made from wood, and it’s an extremely eccentric spot, and I would totally recommend it, I was traveling by myself and needed something efficient and close to airport and train to stations in this hotel was the best, I will be going back next time I go to Glasgow

Good location, nice room, lots of staff. Food in the restaurant was really good although not very plentiful for the price. Had trouble with tepid water in the shower on first day, and never could figure out how to adjust the volume on the tv, but to be fair we didn't ask.

If I'm ever coming to Glasgow again, which I will, I will be staying at The Social Hub. It's a reasonably priced hotel, made for students and staffed by students, where everything just runs so well. When you're here, ask for Jessica and Daniela at the front. They're so sweet, and will treat you right. For nights, Craig is the man at the front to keep you right. Great rooms, great staff, and the coffee is great in the cafe too!

The hotel is stylish and has a nice vibe. Check-in and Service was good. Unfortunately breakfast/restaurant teams was on both of our days overwhelmed. Saturday morning very limited breakfast. Sunday morning was a desaster. Maybe better calculating with booked guests and walk-in guests would be good. We had to get our breakfast outside and didnt heard anything on our feedback to the hotel yet.

Close to the center of town with all that entails, with a surprising diversity of people; close to all transportation options; a genuinely warm and caring staff. The staff was exceptional in every area - except for dining in the evening. The wait seemed protracted. Otherwise no complaints. We enjoyed our stay!

Love the concept of this hotel. The room was clean and roomy. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the open area to lounge, play pool, table tennis etc. Although the hotel is next to a very busy area, appropriate safety measures are all in place.

Social Hub has a lively vibe, comfortable beds, is clean and feels safe. It is good value for the price. On the downside, check in was hectic with tablets not able to find reservations and only one staff to assist. Water pressure was horrible day 1 but better day 2. We could hear our neighbours as if they were in our room. Staff were nice but seemed over worked. Luggage sat out in a very busy public area until I asked for it to be secured but I knew to check this from another review. It was fine for the money and we weren’t in the room much. It lives up to it’s name with many social spaces, ping pong and meeting nooks.

It is a very convenient location and it is beautiful. Their check in process makes you put in all of your information and create your own swipe cards, so it depends if you like that or not. We unfortunately did not have great service in the restaurant - the waiter incorrectly entered our food, so we received a lot of extra food. It was not included on our bill, which was good. We were woken up to the hotel fire alarm at 6:15 am on a Sunday morning where we had to evacuate, but I guess that could happen anywhere. There was not much information given at the time about why this happened. Lastly and most importantly, our hotel room door did not shut easily - the third morning we arrived back to our room after a full day of touring around and the staff had not closed our door after cleaning. We were very upset about this and the staff did not seem very concerned. Thankfully nothing was stolen, but it could have been bad.

Social Hub Glasgow is an affordable option - a great alternative to a traditional hotel. The atmosphere is fun and fresh, and the attached restaurant offers great choice with super friendly service. The room is clean and adequate, but a flashing light on a smoke alarm (?) right above the bed makes sleep challenging. Bedding is tired with small rips in the duvet and no sink in the bathroom (it is in the bedroom) makes washing up a bit awkward if privacy is a concern. Lighting is very low - even with all lights on. Overall good value; a clean room in a convenient and safe location, but lacking in luxury.
