But good area upstairs on 4th to hang out. View out towards the town is great. Bring ear plugs trains go through next door. No bar itionsbti have a drink but they have a tiny bar within the hotel they can serve you. ”

“This place has its quirks--it's an old motel that's been well renovated, but don't expect it to have the smoothed-over slickness of a fancy chain motel. Look at the photos, and you'll know what to expect. What it does have going for it is an unrivaled view of the Mississippi from high atop a bluff and lovely places to sit outdoors. ”

“Room/Bathroom clean. Comfortable bed. Very quiet in spite of being right on the highway. Stayed two nights…bed made and fresh towels following my first night’s stay. Weather was hot, but the room was comfortably cool. I would stay here again. Good location. Friendly staff. ”
