“Beautiful cottage. Great combination of rustic / modern appointments. Very well equipped and dog friendly. We absolutely loved having our girl there with us for the weekend. The property is absolutely serene and stunning. Pictures do not even do it justice. We were able to snowshoe the trails on the property. It was an absolute winter wonderland. “We had a great time! The cottage is very cute and has lots of Adirondack details. We enjoyed great fires and were happily surprised by adequate towels and blankets, etc., which made the stay extra comfy and restful. “The pictures do not do the property justice. Lots of room in both cabins. With dining and kitchen areas in both, had coffee maker and Keurig's in both buildings as well. And more important than the Lake being close, the ice cream shop is closer!! Also, a nice souvenir shop, restaurant and landmark Donut Shop are within walking distance as well. We look forward to staying here again, but are hoping this review doesn't cause it to be booked when we plan our next trip.”

“Absolutely everything was perfect. Incredibly beautiful view! The fall colors refelcting in the water are amazing. It was a bit chilly at night, so we used the fireplace every night and cuddled up on the couch in front of it every night as well. I really enjoyed having my morning tea on the back porch, looking over the water. Thank you so very much for the wonderful opportunity to share this beautiful property. ”

“We enjoyed the stay, everything we needed was there. The ad for the property said within a 2min walk for the lake and the photos looked as though we would just walk out and the lake would be there however the lake was a short drive maybe 4min. For all those seniors who may have a handicap you can't walk to the lake. The only other finding was alot of dog hair from a long haired dog on the floor and behind the couch, also some candy wrappers behind the couch from prior guests. ”

“Spent a long weekend here with my wife and dog, this place is 5-star across the board. I lost track of the number of times I’ve been here, just keep coming back, such a beautiful property. House is always clean, has everything you need. Quick Tip: Millers Meat Market in Lowville is a short drive. The food truck out in front has smoked ribs, brisket, and some other items ready for take out (open at select times so give a call before going),…you won’t be sorry paying the place a visit.”

“We had a great stay at the Serenity Cabin. It was quaint and very updated. The drive and parking area was plowed nicely. The path to the cabin shoveled from recent snowfall. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway. The cabin has everything one would need and was very clean.
