“I was met with a very engaging owner who showed me through the hotel. My room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed and efficient heating. Bathroom was a shared bathroom but was very clean and plenty of hot water and large 'fluffy' towels. The evening meal was very tasty and there was not a long waiting time for the meal. Very helpful and friendly staff. A beautiful country hotel and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.”

One minor thing though---PLEASE upgrade your internet ?wifi connection--the speed was so bad we gave up altogether during our stay and waited until we left --i'm sure its in the pipeline though given our impression we formed of the manager and staff--lovely people. “Love our stay! The building itself is a beautiful historic architecture. We stayed in the Zebra room, the view was stunning overseeing the whole town. Breeze coming in from window was really nice. Fireplace and deep bathtub are also highlights of our stay. The host provided generous breakfast bits and small snacks for us in the room, it was very sweet of them! Also love the contactless check in and out, plenty of privacy for couple, We will definitely come back. ”
