“It is a great property but don’t arrive late because there is not much communication until you arrive at the property. We arrived 3pm and you pick up keys at the coffee shop that closes arround 5:30. As long you get there early you won’t have a problem. Otherwise, the property is great! Very clean and spacious. One of the nicest place we have booked. ”

“Welcomed by Keith who talked us through everything in relation to breakfast, our room etc. Everything was perfect. Hubby was happy as coffee machine in our room! Spacious, large en-suite with good shower. Loved the ‘hair straightener’ slate on the dressing table to ensure no burn marks left - I used that. Huge choice for breakfast. Lovely room to eat it in. The property is in a great position. Would definitely recommend & return. ”

“Loved our stay! Views are incredible- everything we needed for cooking meals was there. Water pressure in the shower was wonderful and it’s a gorgeous easy drive into Inverness for any adventure. Even had some wildlife visit- perfect wee cottage to enjoy quiet and nature!”

“Super Croft, wunderschöner Garten und super freundliche Gastgeber. Lage auf einem Hanggrundstück, wirklich direkt mit Blick auf das Loch Ness von der Terrasse sus und aus dem Croft selbst auf die Urquard bay. Urquard castle in 5 Min zu fuss zu erreichen unsd auch Drumnadrochit ist zu fuss zu erreichen.”

“This is a beautiful gem. Spacious, clean, very quiet. Check in was quick and easy. Very well equipped kitchen. The hosts provided a lovely selection of basics upon our arrival. We absolutely loved it!!! Would definitely stay again!”

“Travelling with my young adult children, this was a very comfortable apartment in the larger building: one among several apartments. Very quiet while we were staying, well off the road and with an outstanding view of the loch. My son took a cold plunge in the loch one morning! The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. Good location for day trips to Urquhart Castle and Skye.”

“We had a wonderful time at the Abbey. The host and staff were so accommodating, adjusting their schedule due to our delays and highly responsive. The views were wonderful and our three boys loved playing chess in the courtyard and wandering the grounds. A great location for excursions to Inverness, Ullapool, Fort Williams, or to just relax. Wonderful cafe nearby at the lochs. Very memorable trip and would come again.”

Chris is an outstanding owner and helped us with all the extras - including funding us a wonderful piper to add that extra special atmosphere to our stay and a driver to tour the Spey Valley distilleries. We were all thrilled with our experience adn the house provided all the children (young and young at heart) with opportunities to play and interact. ”
