“Cozy little mountain cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Isabella. Comfortable. Note that the downstairs mini split is operated by a remote. I kept trying to use the wall controls and wondered why it didn’t turn on lol Nice patio for enjoying the view. ”

“Great location, tidy and laid-back spot with plenty of supplies, suitable for a short stay. Pros: well-stocked kitchen and pantry with everything you need, lots of games & activities for kids, plenty of towels, extra beddings, guide to local area, kind, easy-going host, cute dogs. Cons: the space has definitely seen better days, is due a deep clean (dusty corners and decor, stained floor mats and carpets, etc), queen bed sagging in the middle. ”

“Nothing about this review is personal. I think it's only fair that people have the info before spending time & money. When arriving, we initially thought our stay would be in the cute home next door. Though the address I was given wasn't the next door address, we thought surely we wouldn't be staying in someone's back yard. We were wrong. Parking is in the host's driveway, behind their personal vehicles. We were reluctant to park there because we didn't want to block anyone in, but the host……

“Love it love it love it. Kids loved it and we did too. The house was a great get away from the city life, the view, the quiet and the simple fact that everything we wanted to go do is less than 10mins away driving was a big plus. Everything in the house worked great.Too great may I say that the A/C in the house had to turned off for a few hrs because of got too cold inside, knowing outside was HOT. The drive to the location of the house was super easy to find and get to. It is also pet friendly……

“This is our 2nd time staying at River Willow Cabin. My husband and I and our dog very much enjoy this location. Relaxing beside the river is so tranquil. Just what we needed. Also, enjoyed our day trips up into the Sequoia National Forest. Rob and Carol are wonderful hosts. Cabin has all the amenities you need. Can't wait until our next visit!”

“It was nice we were in between Kernville and a mile or two from the lake so I made it easy access. The house is setup nice Bbq grill clean pool . Highly recommend Javier is a great host . ”

“We grew up in the Kern River Valley. If you’re looking to gather with friends/family this place offers a great inviting space! It’s close enough to walk to town and cozy enough to want to stay in. We will definitely look to rebook in future visits. ”
