“Lee's apartment was a lovely base for our Hilo vacation. The building itself is from the 70s, but the entire apartment has been recently renovated. It's a very chill building, and the only noises we heard were the ocean and nature. My kids enjoyed the pool, it was a perfect temperature for us (not too cold and not too hot). “The views through the sliding glass windows in both the living room & bedroom are eye popping serenity and beauty looking at the verdant Wailoa Park and the big sky. Easy walk into town, short strolls and picnics in the park and manageable walks to the Bay and onto Banyan Drive for the park, restaurants, Banyan Gallery, etc. RECOMMEND: Changing out the coffee mugs which all have cracks and replacing the vegetable peeler which is so flimsy that I was afraid I'd cut myself.
