“We had stayed in this building before and loved its convenience to Carlsmith beach park. This unit is small, but charming and perfect for our short stay. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We even cooked a couple of meals while we were here.If you want to see the turtles and have some sheltered snorkeling at Carlsmith Beach, this is the place.”

“This unit is on the top floor, with a magnificent ocean and bay view, overlooking the beach park. The unit is nicely laid out with a compact kitchen (which is lacking a dishwasher), a living room/dining room combination, along with the two bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a wall of windows overlooking the ocean and bay. The other bedroom has a view of Mauna Loa. Both bedrooms have very high legged beds, 35 inches to the top of the mattress, made for easy viewing of the water and mountain, but……

“We loved our stay at this place! It is located right next to Carlsmith Beach Park where you can snorkel and swim. It is very nicely appointed and has everything you need. It was nice to have an elevator with our luggage. We met the maintenance man on the way in who was very friendly and guided us to our place. Parking is free with a dedicated parking spot. The owner is very responsive and helpful!”

“Owners of this 50 year old high rise have done a good job of maintenance and upkeep; always a challenge in a tropical location. Fellow residents/travelers were polite and friendly and we always felt safe. Coqui frogs were quite noisy as is the case in much of this area, but we kept the windows closed and slept well. Would recommend this place. One note to owners: knives need sharpening; very hard to cut much of anything. ”

“Loved our stay! We chose this property based on its proximity to Richardson Beach and it did not disappoint. The unit had everything we needed - even a cooler bag for a day trip to Kilauea. We felt comfy and very much at home. Really loved the artwork! The building itself is showing its age, but the unit is very much up to date. We enjoyed the rooster next door crowing us awake every morning at just the right time. We'd definitely come back for another stay.good morning ”

“The view is amazing! Very clean and bright. Beds were comfortable. One small accent chair would provide comfortable seating for a fourth person in the living area. Otherwise someone sits on a kitchen chair. The kitchen is set up nicely. A pocket door, swinging doors, etc. would give privacy to the one bathroom. We had a great stay. Mahalo ”
