Summary:
Located in the desirable Kingsholm, this Victorian home offers period charm with modern comfort. Finished to a high standard throughout. On the 1st & 2nd, find 3 double & 3 twin/superking bedrooms, sharing 3 modern bathrooms. Downstairs, a large open-plan kitchen diner with dual ovens, hobs & butler sinks caters to groups. Find 2 reception rooms for relaxing. Enjoy alfresco dining in the garden. With parking for 6 vehicles and walking distance to Gloucester city centre, it's a rare find!

The Space:
Welcome to this beautifully refurbished 6-bedroom Victorian holiday home in the heart of Kingsholm, one of Gloucester’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. Perfectly positioned, it’s just a short walk to the city centre, historic docks, Gloucester Rugby stadium, and the hospital. All whilst benefitting from off-road parking for 6 vehicles, guaranteeing a hassle free stay.

Inside, the house blends period charm with modern luxury. Each of the six bedrooms, spread across the first and second floors, features bespoke built-in wardrobes and high-quality furnishings. It's well suited to different group dynamics, with 3 double bedrooms and 3 rooms that can be made up as either two singles or superkings (see notes for details). Three sleek, modern bathrooms with showers serve the home comfortably.

Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen and dining room is the heart of the house, complete with two ovens, hobs, butler sinks, and all the equipment you need to cook for larger groups. This sociable space opens onto the garden. Two further reception rooms offer plenty of space for relaxation and cosy movie nights in.

Outside, enjoy a contemporary rear garden ideal for BBQs and alfresco dining.

Note: What is currently shown in the photos as the living room has been converted to a dining area for up to 12 guests. The living room has also been moved to 2 reception rooms which are not yet photographed either.

The Neighborhood:
This home in Gloucester places you at the heart of a city rich in history, culture, and access to stunning countryside. Start by exploring Gloucester Cathedral, a magnificent example of Gothic architecture and a filming location for the Harry Potter films. Wander through the historic Gloucester Docks, now transformed with waterside restaurants, bars, and the Gloucester Quays outlet shopping centre. The National Waterways Museum offers insight into the city’s canal heritage. Gloucester Rugby stadium and the Hospital are also within walking distance.

Art lovers can visit the Nature in Art gallery just outside the city, and families will enjoy Robinswood Hill Country Park for walking trails and panoramic views. The city is also a great base for day trips: the Cotswolds are just a short drive away, with their rolling hills and chocolate-box villages like Painswick and Bibury.

Nearby, explore Cheltenham for elegant Regency streets and festivals, including the world-famous Gold Cup Week - the property is only 20 minutes from the racecourse. Or head west to the ancient Forest of Dean, ideal for cycling, walking, and adventure activities. For a riverside day out, the charming town of Tewkesbury offers medieval streets and a stunning abbey. Whether you're after heritage, nature, shopping or family fun, Gloucester is a well-connected and lively base for a memorable break in the South West.

Getting Around:
For those travelling with their own vehicle, the property has parking at the rear for 6 vehicles. For those without, Gloucester is a well connected city, so you needn't worry about getting around. It's easy to walk into the city centre, plus there are lots of buses. The train station is also less than 15 minutes walk.

Other Things to Note:
Dogs are welcome at the property (max 2) on the condition they are kept off beds/sofas, not left in the property unattended and any mess cleaned up in the garden. There is an additional fee of £20/dog.

3 of the bedrooms can be made up as either two singles or a superking. The default is 2 singles, so please let us know in good time ahead of your booking if you would like any of the bedrooms made up as superkings.
