Riverfront Paradise w/ Hot Tub--Little River House

Welcome to the Little River House -- your slice of riverfront paradise. Located right off Highway 2 just 30 minutes from Stevens Pass Ski Resort, this home in Gold Bar, WA (aka "Gateway to the Cascades") is just minutes from hiking, kayaking, fishing, and so much more. Gaze at the stars from the hot tub or relax in the riverside hammock. Enjoy the brand new deck, fire pit, and outdoor games. We can't wait to share this lovely riverfront mountain retreat with you!

The space
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home can host up to 9 people and is perfect for families or a group of friends. Enjoy the amazing sounds of the rushing Skykomish River and breath taking views of the Cascade Mountains right from the backyard.

Our backyard is equipped with everything you need to maximize the fun — including yard games, corn hole, a horse shoe pit, and ring toss. The backyard also includes a large fire pit (BYO firewood), which is perfect for roasting marshmallows with friends and family. After a long day of skiing or hiking, relax and unwind in our hot tub. In the morning, enjoy a hot coffee from our riverside lounge chairs and wave to the kayakers floating by!

We provide a fully stocked kitchen with everything from pots/pans to spices in order to give you all the comforts of home! You can even make yourself a backyard picnic with our state-of-the-art grill located on our BRAND NEW massive deck. Both the indoor and outdoor dining tables are perfect for the entire group, seating up to 8 people each.

Our master bedroom features 1 queen size bed with a cozy comforter and plenty of throw blankets to make sure you stay warm during ski season! It also features a reading nook with a comfy chair that looks out over the river. Unwind at night with a smart TV equipped with all of your favorite streaming apps.

The second bedroom also features 1 queen bed and a smart TV.

Our 3rd bedroom includes a bunk bed with 1 double bed on the bottom and 1 twin bed on the top.

Our home is equipped with high speed wifi, which is perfect for those working from home or streaming from several devices at once.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home and backyard. Your private paradise awaits!
At this time, although the views are spectacular, there is no path currently down to the river from our backyard. There is access to the river within walking distance (0.2 miles) at Big Eddy Public Water Access.

Wonderful
This was my second time staying here and it was a wonderful as i remembered. You really have the place well stocked. We enjoyed the yard with the sound of the river and the view. The house is so comfortable and we did not want for anything. I will recommend this place to friends for a relaxing stay.

Wish We Had Stayed Longer!
We had an amazing stay here for a couple of days and could've stayed for a week! The view of the river was beautiful, great hot tub, cozy decor and corn hole! Our favourite part was the fire pit and the dining table to share meals together. Well stocked with essentials and more. We walked to the Big Eddy swim spot which was an 8 min walk with a bit being on the hwy so be careful or just get a day-pass and drive! Truly, we didn't end up leaving the property that much because it was so nice. Would definitely recommended a stay here and will be back!

Perfect Family Base for Wedding @Wallace Falls Lodge
This was a comfortable home surrounded by the beautiful environment. It was a fabulous base for our family of 3 generations. Easy day trip to Leavenworth, quick access to local hikes, property made ease of dinner outside where the whole family could also comfortably play yard games and listen/watch the river.

The Amazing Little River House
My family and I LOVED our mini-vacation at the Little River House. We came to WA to visit my brother and when our first rental fell through, my husband and I were scrambling to find another one. We are so happy this home was available. It exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a stunning view of the mountains and river. Scott was a very welcoming host. He was very friendly and communicative. He made sure we had everything we needed. I can’t thank him enough for a peaceful weekend spent in his beautiful home.

Mother's Day trip
I wanted a short getaway with my son's and this was a beautiful spot, clean quiet home and neighborhood. We even had front row seats for the Aurora Borealis!! The beds were surprisingly comfortable, The furniture and decorations were very cute. Overall this was a wonderful location to spend a few relaxing days.

My husband, 5 kiddos, and I had a wonderful time at the Little River House! We all loved the cute, clean, cozy, well stocked, welcoming home - and the view was amazing! Beyond Expectation
Great location to just get away for a few days. Stunning views of the mountains with the sound of the river to lull you to sleep. Loved the fenced in yard for the dog to run around and even a dog door. Plenty of spare blankets and towels for cold nights and the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

Blessed by Little River House
Little River House was a great meeting place for my family. The quiet simplicity and beauty were amazing. We loved sitting out and hearing the river, roasting marshmallows, sitting at the large dining room table sharing food and memories. The house was clean, bright and roomy for the 8 of us. We left knowing we wanted to return.

Fun little retreat!
The Little River House was the perfect getaway. Everything you need right there on the property to feel like home. The views and sound of the river were amazing and the house was decorated with a fun, clean style. Scott was very responsive to all my questions and an excellent host. The Thai restaurant and Ricco's pizza are very tasty if you are looking to have something delivered. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Lovely Place by the River
My family of 6 and our two dogs stayed at the Riverside Paradise. It was just as described. The view was amazing, the house was clean, and there was enough room for all of us to hang out and have our space. I wasn't able to get around much this trip, but I didn't mind, because we were in such a beautiful setting and access to the water was within walking distance. I could just lay in bed and look out the master bedroom window and enjoy the view of the mountains. My kids fished along the river and actually caught some fish. We had family meals at the dining room table and spent lots of time in the back yard. This lovely house felt private and was a far enough from the city to feel like we were on vacation, but close enough to get supplies that we wanted. The beds were comfortable, and we had a good laugh trying to shower in the small master shower. We would definitely stay here again and next time make use of some of the yard games that were provided. The cons: The hot tub didn't seem as clean as we would have liked, but it didn't stop my kids from getting in. Also, the kitchen supplies (bowls, serrated knife) were limited, but we got along just fine. The bunk bed was squeaky and could use a "tune-up". The house was a little cold (air was set at 62 degrees) and we had a difficult time adjusting the air conditioner. At some point we figured it out. Instructions on how to adjust the thermostat would be helpful.
