Avoid at All Costs – Even Sleeping in Your Car Would Be Kinder Tried to call the day before to do them a favour and book direct – no answer. Tried again. Nothing. Sent messages. Silence. We arrive and mention we’d like to check in early – not only were we met with a flat “that’s impossible,” but the tone was soaked in such condescension you’d think we’d asked to borrow their house keys. No offer to store bags. No interest in helping with parking. Just a dead-eyed disinterest in anything resembling hospitality. They promised an SMS later that never came. When I asked at check-in whether they ever actually respond to messages or answer the mobile listed on their website, the response was: “Oh, we don’t answer the messages. There are just too many.” Which tells you everything you need to know. Then we got to the room. Surprise – it was not the one we booked. Not even close. When we politely raised this with the owner, they didn’t apologize. They didn’t try to fix it. Instead, they snapped back at us: “We’ll just refund your money then.” No ownership, no accountability – just a rude brush-off, despite clearly acknowledging we had been given the wrong room. And the cherry on top? We woke up the next morning to find two cockroaches doing laps around the power points by the head of the bed. Yes – cockroaches – apparently the only other guests that received any attention. We even had to leave a function early just to make sure we could check in, all for this level of “service.”

Liked its location, ease of parking, quiet surroundings and relaxed ambience . Bathrooms are starting to fade and shower, tap fittings and screens are ready for an update. Overall a good stay for a short visit.

Housekeeping needs to change bed sheets and check under the beds. I found an empty Smirnoff bottle under the bed headboard which means sheets were not changed at all. Also other rubbish under the beds, hairs seen in bathroom the minute we walked in and cockroach seen in bathroom. Other than that, everything was average.

Right on Marina Waterfront. Super pool (2 infact). Reception manned after 2pm. It would be nice if it was manned after 10am for bookings. The "booking" apps are too variable on pricing. It would be nice to book direct at a fixed price.

The property Manager, is also doing the cleaning, the kitchen, the reception without a receptionist. Bedsheets are dirty upon arrival, requested to be replaced. The manager/ cleaner saud yes! But, 1 person doing everything, more than likely you would forget! Tha was the case! Unfortunately, this a good hotel, but lack of manpower, it was allowed to drop to the minimum standard! It"s sad to see the hotel was neglected.

We had a confirmed booking, but just before arrival, the hotel suddenly cancelled our reservation via message. After several messages back and forth, they offered us another room. But when we arrived and opened the door, we were shocked to find the room already occupied! We ended up sleeping in our car with two young kids – absolutely unacceptable and completely unprofessional. No proper communication, no responsibility, and no help from the staff. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

We have rated this average. It was ok for one night as we visited Dreamworld. It was nice and close to the theme park, which was great! Hotel was dirty in areas, needs a really good clean and some tlc.
