“Stayed here basically bc I was too tired to keep driving. I arrived late, rang the bell and quickly checked in. While the room is small, it was spotless, with a great shower! “I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”

“Had a really lovely 4 nights at the inn. Owned by a really lovely and friendly couple. Room was a good size, with a big comfortable bed. Plenty of bedding and towels. You get to use a lot of the property as well as the room. There is a front porch, a back room with amenities for tea/coffee, fridge, ice, microwave etc. You can sit inside there or down the stairs where there is another fridge.
