“The waterfall was beautiful and only a short walk away. The cabin we stayed in was stunning and well used during the rain with its huge verandah. “The property was very clean and stylish and Phillipa had left fruit and other goodies. The decorating is very lovely and the huge veranda overlooking the hills is a beautiful place to have breakfast and coffee and a wine in the evening. The gardens are magnificent. My little dog loved the gardens as much as I did. The location is fabulous to explore Byron Bay and the beautiful beaches around the area. Thanks Phillipa.”

“Thanks for hosting our Mardigrass speakers at your property. They had a great time and for a couple of them it was their second visit to Lilian Rock. Only issue mentioned was the hot water pressure very low, and it ran out mid shower. We hope to book again for 2026 Mardigrass.”

“The house is large and spacious and every item anyone could ask for was provided. The view from the back deck was amazing. You could see forever. Needed to contact the host and he got back to us right away. ”

“The apartment is spacious and has clearly been recently up-dated and equipped. It had everything that we needed for our 4-day stay. It was spotlessly clean and our host, Rod, made the arrival and check-in process very simple. Rod was also available for any questions. The apartment is well located to explore Lismore on foot and, being on the road in from Ballina, the surrounding area by car. Very highly recommended.”

“Stoney Chute Studio is perfect. The mezzanine bedroom and bathroom are huge. The whole studio is huge. Full kitchen, lounge and dining areas. Water pressure is amazing with hot hot water. Completely off grid although you’d never know. The hosts are both amazing people. I spoilt myself and ordered dinner during my stay and was delighted at the meal prepared. If you get a chance, book a workshop with the hosts. I will definitely be back. ”

“Stay one night Christmas eve , and left on 25/12 ,it was Christmas holiday, the city was so quiet, even we could not find any restaurant for our dinner.lucky we find one and only one in the down town the chinese express shop. And the hotel in charge tell us,he would leave on 24 /12 night and no body staff left.told us to leave the key while check out, just ok. it was quiet unbelieve that no in charge staff on duty to manage the hotel. so I took experience that no next time coming on this date.”
