Bright, modern newly refurbished open plan 1 bedroom shack, perfect place for a couple wanting a relaxing weekend away.

Stroll down to the towns Alfresco cafe, shops, restaurants & Murray River or simply relax at home with a BBQ.

Equipped with a kitchenette that provides a microwave, air fryer and hot plate (no oven) modern furniture inside & out. Two entertaining areas with BBQ and Webber.

This shack caters for humans and their pets offering a large fully enclosed yard with ample parking space for cars and boats. Side carport

Explore the Fleurieu Peninsulas many tourist attractions from food and wine trials + markets to fantastic cycle rides. Port Elliot to Victor Harbour are in close driving distance or leave the car at home and take the Cockle Train to either town and explore on foot.

Next door 1 bedroom stone cottage available for rent too. Great opportunity to combine family holidays alongside each other. Own private yard and pet friendly. Message me re booking (The Old Cottage & the shack as a package)

BSA club rally stay
The Shack was a great base for our weekend with a group of people staying elsewhere in Goolwa.Place was clean and all we needed. We were out both days and sorry we didn’t get to lounge around the property a bit more. Great affordable place to stay for a restful weekend. I really enjoyed talking to your uncle over the fence Sunday morning Nat.

Lovely stay
Plenty of room to spread out, great shower but limited hot water and the bed was really comfortable, but a bit odd go outside to use the toilet! The couch was uncomfortable and dirty and throw smelt doggy and the bedding was highly perfumed.

Very Disappointed
Paid for two nights, stayed one night. Nice location and enclosed yard. The place was very clean and the air conditioner (heating) worked well. The toilet is under the main roof, but you’ll need to go outside to enter it. Very unpleasant getting rugged up (and unnerving) if using it in the middle of a cold night. Also, the light globe was broken so, no light in toilet & no spare globe. Old door handle to bathroom came off in our hand so had to repair it with a matchstick to keep the door shut. The bathroom basin tap leaked enough to saturate spare pillows stored in adjacent cupboard. The microwave is on top of the full-size fridge – impossible for shorter people to reach and it is a scolding hazard when removing hot soup/food. Inadequate bench space and power points to use appliances in kitchen. NO SMOKE ALARM. No top sheet on bed and bring spare blankets if you feel the cold. Tired looking and dysfunctional for humans. Your dog will love it.

Location location location
Clean, light, airy and comfortable within comfortable walking distance of the town centre and wharf area. Well equipped with all the basic equipment for meals, lounging around and sleeping. Nice modern bathroom. Outside toilet spotless and it's door next to entrance and under cover of the veranda. Block well grassed, fenced and great for our 4 legged companion. Shack well set back from quiet road with good privacy while lovely sitting area out front. One of the best places we have stayed in and we had a lovely relaxing time. Great accommodation for a couple with a dog.

Its a great place to stay Compact in size but perfect for us I have a disability and use a walking frame The house is flat and getting into and out of it is easy The large yard's perfect for our medium sized dog Its big enough for him to have a really good run The toilets outside but this aspect didn't worry us There's good lighting outside All in all it was again (we've been there before a couple of time) a great stay
