It is in a quiet location but very close to the spectacular coastal sights and the coastal path in North Cornwall and North Devon. There are also several walking loops right from the residence around the nearby countryside. It is an excellent spot for birdwatching and relaxing. It is also within a 60-90 minute drive from Tintagel, Dartmoor National Park, and Exeter, in case you wish to venture further. But you……

“We had a great Christmas week staying at the cottage. The cottage was cosy with the log burner and provided for a very comfortable stay. The split of bedrooms worked well for us, we stayed on the top floor with my wife's family on the bottom. There's a large well stocked Kitchen with a big table for us all to sit round. Large glass windows from the Kitchen looking out to the rear and across the hills provided a nice relaxing spot to sit back and enjoy a coffee. Our daughter enjoyed the swing and……

“It is a large house with lots of different sleeping spaces/options. The kitchen table will seat everyone, games areas, two lounges ( one of which enjoys the sunset where we enjoyed pre dinner drinks), the views towards Widemouth Bay are amazing as is the sunset from the property. A fair price for the standard of the property. ”

“The location of this chalet is lovely and the camp is nice and quiet. The view from the balcony is nothing short of stunning. The Chalet is well equipped with pretty much everything you need and a nice starter pack with tea and coffee making supplies - the owner has gone above and beyond to ensure nothing is needed. The decor is a bit of a miss mash of styes - eclectic - but if you're not worried about the style then no problem. Unfortunately the chalet is damp. Very damp. To the point that……

“This is a delightful property and our host was extremely helpful and friendly. We took our grandsons (aged 7 and 11) and were able to show them quite a lot of Devon. A big success was the heated swimming pool which they loved as well as the trampoline etc. Everything was great in the cottage and everything we needed. If fast broadband is a must you might struggle as with many rural areas it isn’t fast. However we highly recommend this property.”

“A cosy property which met all our needs. Comfortable and clean throughout. The kitchen was well resourced and we made good use of the oven, microwave and washing machine. Parking was diagonally opposite to the bungalow, so useful with young children. The children loved watching the cows in the field behind. Altogether a lovely stay and with a car close to Bude and some lovely beaches.”
