“Really nice staff, cozy chill area and comfortable rooms! They don’t have gender separated dorms but as a female solo traveller I asked for a female only room and they made it work! They couldn’t guarantee it but if they have capacity they try their best to make it as comfortable as possible for their guests. Thanks for that!”

“We arrived very early but Leah allowed us to check in immediately and she opened the dining area in case we were hungry. She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store.”

“We arrived from out of country nearly four hours before check-in. We were allowed to store our luggage and grab some lunch while our room was prepared. Our room was spotless clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast each morning included in the price was very nice. Would stay here again if we return to Trieste.”

“Beautiful apartment with a breathtaking view”

“We received instruction on how to get into the apartment. The bath towels were minimal. we never had any contact by the host other than email. Maybe it’s the European way, but I thought that was very odd. I called because the TV was not working and I felt as if I was interrupting the host. The accommodations were fine. Overall, if ever in Triest again, we would certainly contact Ghiberti again. The price was very reasonable.”
