“I can not review this property fairly. I can review the Host which were awesome. There was an issue with the original property. Jody and John were able to make alternative accommodations for us. We were very pleased. It was in the same location, which you definitely need a vehicle for. We were able to visit many areas from here with ease. Communication was excellent, would rent again. ”

Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). There was also a coffee maker and there were coffee pods supplied which my wife made full use of! And there was a proper tea pot supplied and backup tea bags were available. “Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay.”

Can't help but relax here, especially on the veranda in the evening, which has a patio heater if needed. No wifi & 6km from town meant my kids aged 15, 13 & 4, took to exploring the woods, finding frogs, playing games, watching DVDs with family while 'home'. “We only stayed one night as part of our tour of Ireland and wished it could have been for longer. Room was wonderful, very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with excellent variety/ quality available to choose from. Grounds were absolutely stunning. Took advantage of one of the walking trails available in the extensive grounds. “We stayed here to weather the storm with the power being out at home. Could not be more impressed with the accommodation here. We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. Decided to book again the next night it went so well. ”
