"Very friendly staff. The Red Admiral is a little outside the urban areas, so very quiet once the pub winds down. My wife was convinced that there was another (peaceful and tranquil) presence in the room, perhaps The Admiral."

"Best hotel bed i have stayed in! It was just so comfortable. Very clean rooms. Food in the hotel is fab, and HUGE portions. Will definately be back!"

"Only downside was an extractor unit which ran round the clock. A bit like sleeping on a ship or aircraft, you quickly got used to it. I’ve booked another stay, so it hasn’t put me off."

Perfect relaxing stay
"The site is perfect for a quiet relaxing stay, great views and 2 minutes to the lake. Everything you need in the lodge for a home from home stay. If you have dogs there’s a great area for dogs for a short walk and a 2 mile circuit without having to get in your car!!!"
