We have a large family with 6 children and 7 grandchildren along with partnersThe kitchen was amazing for us as we cooked all our own meals - the stove and ovens were spacious, the center island for prep and to serve from worked great. Having a large dining room where we could sit together for our meals was perfect for us.The rooms were all nicely decorated with comfortable beds and many en suite bathrooms which were appreciated……

“This lovely home on the serene Chalk Pond was a great place to get away. The house is beautifully decorated, while still being practical. The fact that they allow dogs is a nice bonus. The house was clean, plenty of soft towels, and the beds were comfortable. The owner is very communicative and responsive to any issues. Highly recommend! ”

“Beautiful leaves in reds, oranges, and yellows reflected in a gorgeous pond with a pair of loons slowly floating by....Perfection! What a gorgeous location! We had a great stay- the kitchen was wonderful to cook in- we loved the gas stove- bacon tasted so delicious with croissants in the morning! “Stayed in the winter, place got a bit cold (it does not have central heat). Wasn’t a lighter or enough firewood for our stay but the host brought a lighter and more wood. Beautiful pond in the back and the location is good, with easy access to the highway. Neighbors were close by, we were asked to turn off the outdoor light because it was shining into their house. Cottage was clean. There are security cameras outside. Overall it is a cozy place to stay in a good area. ”

“This is my 2nd stay at the inn. Between this stay and the last one, the incidentals deposit handling changed and I never received the check in email. Had I not known I should have received the email to get the code (after paying the deposit) to get into the building and called before I arrived, I would have been stuck. Fortunately I knew it was missing. The service rep handled the situation perfectly. Aside from that bump, we still love the facility’s charm. Just remember it’s an old home not……
