“Das Cottage liegt in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und die Vermieter, Georgina und David sind bezaubernd und sehr hilfsbereit.Sehr lecker ist der hausgemachte Honig und die Orangenmarmelade.Durch die Lage an der Grenze von den Grafschaften Devon und Cornwall ist alles in einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar. Für uns war es ein traumhafter Urlaub.”

“We've just returned from an amazing stay in Barn End Cottage. On arrival we were welcomed with some delicious home made scones and locally produced cider which got our trip off to the perfect start. The accomodation itself is gorgeous and has a very traditional cottage style, but comes with all modern amenities plus the added bonus of a gaming room which my daughter loved. The cottage literally has everything you need and more for a perfect holiday (one day we had fresh popcorn for breakfast……

“The house was cosy .space outside was amazing with walk in woods wildlife pond. Garden was well equipped with plenty of seating. Peaceful location. Host thought of everything to make our stay a place from home . On hand if need be (but not feeling as if being watched ) Dogs had plenty to sniff everytime we walked around the woods and field.Absolutely amazing just what we needed.”

“There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. Communication with the owner was only by email so we couldn’t call him. We emailed the owner twice to get the full address of the property which was only given to us as we……

“Had a lovely holiday week. We had the house and flat, ideal for our party of 9 and three dogs. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. Kitchens have just been refurbished, main house one wasn't quite finished but not a problem. Love the outside space too, enclosed garden for the children and dogs. Visited both the pubs for drinks and meals too, good food and welcome.”

“All in all me and my partner loved our short stay away in a beautiful shepherds hut. It was out of the way and so peaceful, i’d definitely stay here again. The only thing that let it down was the door latches and there was a gap in the bathroom door. ”

“Very comfortable furniture. Lovely features like the aga. It didnt want for anything, very well equipped. Not enough room in the bedroom with kingsize bed. Only one bedside cabinet. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Good amenities in the village. Wifi not the best. ”
