“Downtown area, a bit rundown, but wide street and Hotel is situated close to Bars and restaurants, there is a bottle shop next door and so could be a sound issue (no double glazing). Air-conditioning was excellent, one of the best I have had outside of USA.Hotel is a bit dated, but staff are friendly and helpful, only bed issue was it was 2 singles pushed together but made up as 2 singles, so a bit cramped.”

“A really lovely and relaxing place to spend a few days whilst visiting the game reserves. Very attentive staff, a large and comfy bedroom A lookout deck, pool, hammock and outdoor seating area are all lovely, and would be fabulous in warmer weather. Three course dinner (set menu) was delicious and all home-prepared on site. The dining room is also very nice, and we were seated right by the fire - very welcome in August. The shower did go cold on us twice, but I think in winter it's harder……

“We had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse. As we have had some business to do with Rhodes University it was very convenient for us. Rhodes University is just across the road. Highly recommendable. ”

“Zalonda was amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We had a lovely little patio area which was great to sit out it and we had everything we needed, including a small dining table so we could eat our meal in comfort. ”

“Modernes Haus mit schönen Ausblick. Der Strom funktionierte während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht so recht, es gibt jedoch einen Generator. Sonst war alles bestens!”
