“We wanted a little get away close to home, where we could bring our grandkids so they could fish. We stayed for 4 nights and the kids were up and ready to fish off the dock every morning. We caught 6 catfish and a few brim which we cleaned and cooked for supper one night. The kids were funny when we told them we were eating the fish we had caught, my grand daughter swore it was not the same fish because they weren't gray and brown we I cooked them. “Stayed here for the music festival, with friends from out of state who actually own/operate VRBO property. Good location. 15min Uber drive from Lamar Dixon. Cleaning issues previously stated in other reviews NOT an issue. 4.5 for check in because all the check in details (passcode and wifi info) were different than received by app communications, but Rosevelt was very quick to reply and remedied immediately. “Beautiful home on the river. Property was clean and well maintained. Owners quickly resolved a few small issues we had. Communication was great before and during stay. Perfect location between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. ”

“We had 8 adults in our group. Each couple was able to have their own bathroom in addition to their own bedroom, which was a definite plus. Plenty of room for all of us in the common spaces as well. Very drive able to both Baton Rouge and New Orleans.”
