“We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The property has beautiful live oaks and plenty of wildlife to watch while sitting on the porch. The house had everything we needed, with a Keurig, washer and dryer being the most important amenities for our family. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on. It is a very easy and rather short drive from Lake Charles. We had never stayed on the eastern side of the lake but we enjoyed exploring the area and finding new……

“Wonderful lil gem on the Mermentau River. The accommodations were superb. The atmosphere was grand. And the amenities were divine. Everything was great from swimming, fishing off the wharf, or just taking in the tranquil surroundings. Would have never guessed such a great place was tucked into our locality. ”

“Awesome house just as advertized!!! The pier was awesome we caught sting rays,drums,gaftop,croakers,alligator gar.Someone had a fish on almost the whole day. We used shrimp and shad we caught with a cast net. Great trip hope we can go back one day.”
