It was a great stop. Staff friendly and accommodating. Only complaint, the bed was tiny for 2 to sleep in. My husbands 3rd visit there and we would probably stay there again.

I asked for the new owners email three times so I could make this review in privately but the staff refused. I stayed at this property twice: Aug 13. Second floor queen room with a view. Checked in with no issues at 3 pm. Room was dated but very large and clean. Worth the $220 for a stop over driving from Nova Scotia to Ontario. Aug 23. First floor double room. $194. Would have rebooked second floor but it was not available. Tried to check in at 3 pm. Told there were no rooms available (parking lot had two cars and all rooms appeared vacant). Asked if there were any clean rooms available that I could check into as we’d been driving all day. Was told to come back and it should be ready in 30 minutes. Came back at 3:30, staff told me room was not yet clean. I asked if I could be switched to another room as the parking lot was still empty. Staff said they were not allowed to do this because other guests might upset by the room switch. I decided to wait in the lobby area with my kids as I was tired. I waited quietly. At several points the staff member became upset and told me it wasn’t her fault but the cleaners fault for being too slow. I explained that I wasn’t upset with her but with the policy. She then left the desk area to discuss my issue with other staff members in French. Even though I wasn’t speaking French to staff I fully understood the conversation. Room was awful when allowed to check in after two other sets of guests were checked in before 4 pm

Easy check in, even though we arrived after hours, the staff made it easy for us to locate our room. Parking right in front of our door. Restaurant is so nice to have on property. 5kms from the highway. Beautiful view of the dam. Staff are keeping the property very clean and user friendly. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need.

Had a room overlooking reservoir with balcony which was nice. Rooms are looking a bit dated but were clean. Light fixture behind my bed was not working. Tried switching light bulbs from desk lamp but that didn't work. I like a firm bed but this one was just hard. Sleep wasn't the best I have had

We were assigned a room where the air conditioner made horrible noises all night. When we mentioned it to the staff, we were made to feel guilty about wanting to change rooms. She stated that if we did, someone else would have to put up with it and that it was a lot of paperwork/effort to switch us. This was a stopping point for us going from Ottawa to Moncton, but we will find a different place to stay from now on. We go every year to visit family. Wouldn’t recommend it based on the front desk staff. It doesn’t show well when there’s a problem and you don’t really want to resolve it.

Went to check in and there wasn't anybody at the desk. Waited 15 - 20 minutes for the girl to come. She was friendly. We wanted dinner so she took us to a table in the restaurant. We waited at least 15 minutes for someone to come and take our order. She was very friendly and apologetic. The food was terrible. My husband's dinner was cold. Then we went to our room. It was very dated, the beds looked like they were slanted towards the wall but we were so tired after a long day of traveling we didn't care. Got in to bed turned on the TV and nope it didn't work. Will not stay here again.

Loved this inn by the water. The included breakfast was fantastic as we could choose any item from the menu at the attached restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Stay here. You’ll love it.
