“Six of us had a wonderful stay at this home. The first thing that you notice is that everything has been modernized and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cooking tools, a selection of coffee and teas, and a good ice maker. All the rooms are spacious, and everything is spotless. It IS on a pretty main street so there are the inevitable loud music playing vehicles driving by at times. It was nice to all sit on the front porch and chat in the mornings and we enjoyed our……

“We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a long weekend stay at The Mermaid House in Mount Dora. The house was perfect, the neighborhood great and close to downtown. When we had a question for the host he contacted us right away. Since it was very hot we didn’t get to enjoy the backyard oasis much. We hope to return in the fall ”

“We stayed in Fisherman’s Cottage for 2 nights at the end of our stay in Florida, We wish had found this gem earlier in our trip. The cottage is stunning and beautifully decorated and adorned with amazing fish related artwork. Appliances were all high end as was the bedding and all was spotlessly clean. The cottage is a 10 minute walk to the main centre of Mount Dora where you find plenty of restaurants and bars, and access to Lake Dora, where a boat tour is well worth doing. Mount Dora is a……

“The house is absolutely gorgeous- there is nothing more I could have asked for. The owners were extremely responsive when I let them know the hot tub was full of sand and leaves from prior renters. They sent someone out right away and clean and refill it. We didn’t get to use it bc it was still cold when we left, but it looks like the perfect relaxation spot. There were tons of chairs and chaises to sit on the beach, and drink coffee in the morning and wine at night. Kids and adults loved the……
