Upon entering, you're greeted by a spacious living area where a bar beckons in one corner, perfect for enjoying evening drinks or entertaining guests. The living room offers an inviting atmosphere, with comfortable seating and large windows allowing lots of natural light into the home.
In the kitchen, you’ll find a gas stove conveniently situated in the island, allowing for seamless cooking and socializing. The kitchen is well-appointed with ample counter space.
This cabin has three bedrooms, each featuring a king-sized bed. Ensuring that every guest enjoys maximum comfort and space for a restful night's sleep after exploring RMNP or enjoying lake activities. The master bedroom features a jacuzzi tub and a walk-in shower, providing a spa-like experience within the cabin. Perfect for rejuvenation, offering a tranquil sanctuary after outdoor adventures.
Outside, the cabin offers both front and back decks, extending your living space into the mountain air. The front deck hosts a propane grill and seating, perfect for barbecuing and enjoying meals with friends and family.
The back deck features a spacious hot tub that seats 7 people. Unwind under the starlit sky or soak in the breathtaking views of the mountains beyond, making it an ideal spot for downtime.

Columbine Lake is a private, covenant-controlled community. Renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake.” Plan on using one of the other three lakes (Grand, Granby and Shadow Mountain) for all your lake activities. Keep in mind when booking, that this property is located in a quiet neighborhood with owner residents.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of your arrival date for stays of 6 nights or less will incur a $50 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival date the entire amount is non-refundable for all reservations.
Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.
