“Cozy hotel in the small town of Landry. Close to the slopes but you'll need to take the shuttle or train to Paisey or Bourg St Maurice. Very good restaurant downstairs so you don't have to leave for dinner after a long ski day. The foie gras was fantastic. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is no one is there to help you with the bags if you decided to try and travel without a car. ”

“I found this property to be lovely spot to stay with lovely design and very convenient. The food was okay, not great for the cost with breakfast buffet being mostly cold (as in eggs, bacon, pancakes). To be honest I found most of the staff to be unfriendly bordering on almost rude, it was always as though you were an unwelcomed inconvenience.”

“Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved that they have ski lockers for all the rooms. Room was clean and had a lovely view. Highly recommend!”

“Perfect family hotel, half board option works easily for families. Very close to the slopes and easy to get to. Motorway comes into Bourg St Maurice and there is a funicular up to the resort if needed”

So can compare what was good, what was bad and what has changed in the meantime (but basically the bad points remain year after year) On the plus side: Very large, well-designed rooms with stunning view. “What can I say, a fantastic hotel experience!! Clean, extremely comfortable and excellent service from all staff! Lovely breakfast, great location, Cosy bar area, nearby covered parking and a lovely little spa. The outdoor pool boasts amazing views of the mountains, just magical!! I highly recommend this lovely little property, my only improvement comment is the toilet roll provided in rooms which is a little too rough, so I purchased my own. Other than that, our experience was faultless.……

“This hotel fully deserves five-star rating, from the helpful and friendly reception, the modern and comfortable room (and indoor pool and spa), good housekeeping service to the excellent on-site restaurant. I'm particularly impressed by François and his team at the on-site ski shop. They took good care of my equipment and gave me very good boot adjustment advice (virtually saved me from getting a new ski boots!). The proximity to the ski slopes is a big plus. Highly recommended for anyone……
