We really enjoyed the restaurant and overall stay, but unfortunately had a negative experience with the morning staff that impacted our visit. Early in the morning, we received a call waking us up and were told to move our vehicle because it was supposedly parked in the wrong spot. We had parked the night before in a stall that was not blocked off or marked in any way, and we did not move any barriers. There were no signs or notices indicating that parking was restricted due to painting or maintenance.
When my wife tried to explain this, the front desk clerk was rude and dismissive. He even said, “I don’t care, make a complaint to my manager, go right ahead,” and then walked off. This attitude was uncalled for, especially since other guests in the same row were also moving their vehicles that morning—clearly, the area was not properly marked or communicated to guests.
Due to how the situation was handled, we decided to cancel our extra night and checked out early to stay elsewhere. It’s unfortunate because we otherwise enjoyed the location, but that level of customer service was unacceptable.
