Very clean and love the fenced yard. Our dog Sammy had a good time chasing lizards! Ate breakfast out in the screened in porch every morning and it was so fun to listen to all the different types of birds and all the different woodpeckers too. Thanks for a relaxing time!”

“I was very impressed with the fact that this VRBO was just like being at home! From the nice quality shower and laundry products instead of the cheap brands, to the variety of seasonings instead of just salt and pepper, you really didn't need to bring much with you. The kitchen was equipped with good quality dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and even tinfoil, instead of just bare minimal. The towels and bedroom linens were nice quality instead the thin cheaper type. The outdoors were perfect and……

“Overall we loved staying at the Hawthorne Retreat! Management was very easy to work with and super accommodating! We had a graduation celebration weekend with 12 friends and family, 8 stayed on the premises. It was perfect. We had everything we needed to grill and hang out by the lake! I will advise that it is a rustic lake house so may be a bit more rough for someone looking for glam. The casita’s fridge is retro and very cool, but not appealing inside for food storage. Bring hair dryers……
