“Stayed in the Royalist Suite for a short break with our daughter and found the place just totally amazing. Stephanie was friendly and provided accurate local and check in information. Orton Hall, and the Royalist Suite are stunning and just next level opulence. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, but we hardly used it, as the George pub is literally 5 minutes walk and the food fab, with a very friendly landlors and staff. The grounds of the Hall are great, and, despite the damp……

“The house is gorgeous and the garden is absolutely stunning! We mostly do day hikes, and it’s just the perfect spot for it. The cottage has three levels. You enter from the beautiful garden into the living room. From there, you can go down four stairs to the kitchen and bathroom, or up eight stairs to the bedroom. It’s beautifully decorated and has everything you need for your stay. Three groceries are within a five-to-ten-minute walk. The owners are super friendly and will answer any questions……

“Beautiful cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Great location as it’s a short drive to most popular Lake District attractions. Stunning scenery and spacious cottage make for a relaxing getaway. Kev welcomed us when we arrived and recommended places to visit including the local pub for pizza which was lovely! 100% recommend this cottage for anybody looking to visit the Lake District. The hot tub was a luxurious bonus which helped us relax after a long day of hiking. ”
