“This was my first time staying here. It’s a throwback to the 60’s/70’s when my family would go on vacation. They’ve done a good job in upgrading the bathroom, TV & WiFi and installed a manufactured wood floor getting rid of the who know’s what you find in much more expensive motels. This isn’t 5-star Hilton, but you get a that throw-back/cozy feeling of years past. Pricing is commensurate with what you get. Will definitely cone back when in the area!”

“We had a quick overnight in the area & this motel was a good value. Close to the highway & walking distance to restaurants, coffee & town. Check in was easy, staff is very kind & friendly. Our room was very basic but spacious & clean. We slept well. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“There are not many places to stay near Hillsdale, NY. The Brooks Motel is an exceptional find. A renovated 1950s roadside motel, The Brooks provided a safe haven for the night. A no host hotel, guests are provided by email a code for the keypad on the door. A text and phone number are provided to reach the host if something is needed. The hosts are quick to respond and very gracious. Beds are new memory foam and very comfy. My only complaint is that there is no carpet on any floor, only……

“Basic motel totally renovated with simple but stylish furnishings. No one on premises but instant reply via text when we had trouble opening the keypad upon a return to the room. Nice location. Noise (from maybe kitchen fans at night from nearby restaurant ) took away from the quiet lawn setting with lots of Adirondack chairs. “The fact that they require a vaccine card should be mentioned in their Hotels.com profile. Luckily for me I had it in my car. I don't mind if some hotel owners want to require it, but it should be pretty clearly stated. The owner told me that I didn't need to use the air conditioner, that I should open the windows. How about I decide that? The room was musty-smelling, and everything was very dated and just didn't feel very clean. There are better options in Great Barrington. This is a place to……

“Booked a king bed but when I got there they told me no cable in that room. They gave me a room with a double bed that were on top of being small were very uncomfortable plus so much dust in air conditioner my allergies were affected plus it stunk couldn’t stay had to repack and go drive around and find a clean hotel plus staff never used a mask or gloves when I went back next day because I forgot my meds in drawer He told me he already cleaned room and there was nothing in the room I walked past……
