“Such a nice area with a beautiful lake, stream, fishing, walking/hiking trails along creek. The cabins are great-cozy with a gas fireplace, TV, comfortable beds and so clean! It was nice to have fans in each bedroom. There was extra bedding for the futon and extra pillows in each bedroom. An extra nice touch was the flavored coffee and creamer to use in coffee maker. Just a few suggestions would be for a replacement futon pad as the coils were very uncomfortable on it, a roll of paper……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Deer Meadow! The home had everything a family would need to have an outstanding and memorable time. We also were close to South Dakota special areas including Deadwood, Lead, Spearfish Canyon, Custer Park, Rapid City. We enjoyed it all! We rode horses at Andy's in Lead; We enjoyed wine at Belle Jolie vineyard in Sturgis, Filet mignon at Alpine Inn in Hill City and so much more! We had daily visits from deer - and we had a snow day. “What a find! This house was so great. Mid-century style with an expansive view through floor to ceiling windows overlooking the hills. We had a spring snow storm while we were here which made it all the more cozy. The host was extremely responsive and proactive with communication and check in and check out was seamless. We have rented many houses around the world and this one stood out for being so unique. Would definitely return!”
