Stayed with my wife and two children (7 and 10). Friendly staff, nice rooms, good dining options. The jerk chicken and patties at the poolside food truck was the best option on the resort. That and the oxtail, which they had at the lunch buffet and in the Jamrock restaurant. We didn’t realize until we arrived that over half of the hotel property is reserved for the Mangrove adults only resort, so there were fewer a la carts restaurants than we thought and the beach areas available to the family side are pretty small. Beaches were kept very clean and the water was amazing. A few rocks in the sand in some spots so be careful walking in. One of the best kids waterparks we’ve seen at a resort outside of the Atlantis Bahamas. The slides were big enough that even the parents could enjoy them, but not so huge or intimidating that a 7 year old couldn’t handle them. So I was going up and down with my kids every day. They loved it. Friendly staff, good activities, not pushy with trying to upsell you on things or book you for the spa services. Kids only tried the kids club once but they enjoyed it and got to be a part of the on stage show that night. My only complaint is that our room was close to the stage where the shows happened every night, and we put the kids to bed fairly early and the music from the night shows would shake our walls until 11pm. We paid more for a swim out junior suite and it was so worth it to have our own pool area to dip in any time that we wanted.

The property was very clean and vibrant. Staff was so friendly and kind. We felt welcomed and safe from start to finish. There was a great variety of food to choose from, but during busy weekends make sure you go early or you risk not being able to be sat for dinner before closing. There are some free watersports that are included, which was nice. Plenty of pools to choose from and even though the place was sold out, it never felt overcrowded. Our only issue the entire time was always needing to ask for towels. Our room was cleaned daily but towels we always needed to call for. Often times we'd just bring back extra towels from the pool areas so we could shower as soon as we got back and not have to wait for towels. There are a lot of excursions to book through the property, but they are quite expensive. You are about 1 hour 15 minutes away from montego bay airport, 3 hours from Dunn's River falls and 30-40 minutes from negril. Overall my kids and I had a great experience and would love to return!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the property itself was beautiful with well-kept grounds. There was some ongoing maintenance during our stay, but nothing disruptive. Cleanliness in the common areas could use improvement — we noticed excessive fingerprints on main entry glass doors (coffee shop) and tables were not always cleaned/cleared promptly after meals. Staff were friendly and helpful overall, though service was a bit slow at times (which we expected). Food was the main downside: while there are too many lunch options, it might be better to focus on just two or three venues to improve quality, as the buffet food was often cold. Despite these issues, we had an overall good trip.

I have stayed most of the 5 star all inclusive hotel's in jamaica. But the princes Grand jamaica Resort is best of others. The property have Very good ambiance. Regarding the Hospitality The front desk service and Restaurant staff and the Expedia customer services was excell. Rating 5 out of 5. I will defenitly recommend the Princes grand jamaica Resort to all my family and friends etc. Thanks once again to expedia for the services and hospitality..

We loved it! We had the Platinum upgrade with the swim out pool. It was a dream vacation. Only wish we knew that we could have our butler do some more than what we had them do such as getting us the schedule of the events and dinner reservations... Apparently, they could do so much more like reserving cabanas, bringing you drinks and foods and etc...

It was horriable property. AC for room did not work inspite of upgrade, room service for horriable, property was not very clean. People were not nice including property excursions staff. We had a wonderful time at this resort. It is great for kids - they loved the water park and kids' club. The swim out suite was great - facilities were well maintained and food was good and entertainment was fun. Service was attentive (especially the butlers) but key bar areas were understaffed and resulted in considerable wait times for service. Easily corrected with a few more staff assigned -- and then, it would have been perfect. We will return.

My stay was nothing short of amazing. I am a family of 6 traveled with 4 children oldest 14 and youngest 7 months old. We got the swim out suite which was wonderful it was located right across from the waterpark. The food was 6/10. The entertainment was 8/10. Service 10/10. Staff 10/10. The only con I have about this property is the check in process we waited for 3 hours for our room. Other than that I’d definitely book this resort again.

I stayed at this resort for my daughter 10th birthday celebration. All I can say is woooow, wooow,wooow. Everything was amazing. The cleanliness, the food, the swim out room. The staff was above and beyond amazing Akeela in guest service, the manager Ingrid, the wedding Manager that worked the night shift on 8/22 really displayed so much professionalism and also Malik that served our beach dinner on 8/24 was also amazing. We enjoyed our stay overall and I would recommend anyone traveling to Jamaica to stay at the Princess Grand 10/10

I am writing to share my recent experience at The Princess Grand Jamaica, which I believe falls short of the 5-star standard that this establishment promotes. As a frequent guest at all-inclusive 5-star hotels, I had high expectations for my stay. Unfortunately, I would rate this hotel between 2.5 and 3 stars based on several factors: 1. Service and Hospitality: The overall service provided by the staff was disappointing. Many team members displayed a lack of enthusiasm, which detracted from the welcoming atmosphere typically expected at a resort of this caliber. 2. Cleanliness and Housekeeping: During my first three nights, our room was not cleaned despite multiple reminders. It took several complaints before housekeeping consistently attended to our room. This level of attention to cleanliness is not what I would expect from a newer establishment. 3. Food Quality: The dining options were underwhelming, lacking flavor and taste. Overall, the culinary experience did not meet the expectations associated with a 5-star resort. 4. Beach Conditions: The beach area was not as appealing as portrayed in promotional materials. The water had an unpleasant odor, and there were significant amounts of seaweed and jellyfish, making it less enjoyable for swimming and relaxation. While there are aesthetic aspects of the hotel that are visually appealing in photographs, the reality of the experience fell short. I would recommend addressing these issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
