“This place is just wonderful and very historic. Peaceful and interesting things around every corner! Sit in the hot tub or on the hammock and watch the hummingbirds and the deer. Anne is the kindest host we've ever had. Not only were fresh flowers were scattered throughout cabin, but she left a birthday cake and ice cream for my twins birthday ”

“Yes, it's a small home, but it has everything you need. All 5 beds were clean and comfortable. The rooms downstairs have a bit of an odor and are a little stuffy, but to find a home with 4 rooms and 5 beds on short notice at such an affordable price was amazing, so we didn't mind at all. "As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
