“Sportsman's Pond and Blueberry Cottage provided the ideal location for disconnecting from the noise and busyness of every day life. The pond was beautifully serene, without outboard motors, jet skis, etc. The fall colors were gorgeous. The hosts provided every sort of watercraft one might want. I kayaked everyday exploring the shoreline and watching for birds. “Stayed in the winter, place got a bit cold (it does not have central heat). Wasn’t a lighter or enough firewood for our stay but the host brought a lighter and more wood. Beautiful pond in the back and the location is good, with easy access to the highway. Neighbors were close by, we were asked to turn off the outdoor light because it was shining into their house. Cottage was clean. There are security cameras outside. Overall it is a cozy place to stay in a good area. ”

We actually never ate out for dinner, because we wanted to eat in the home and watch the sunset over the lake. Also, waking up to enjoy breakfast and coffee, while listening to the birds and watching the light change on the water was absolutely magical. The home is so well kept, absolutely spotless, and Melissa is so easy! We requested an iron last minute (gotta look……
