“We were there to spend Christmas with my daughter and family. They live in Denham Springs, a 15 minute drive from the rental. We enjoyed the location and easy access to groceries and some restaurants. The rental is large enough for us to have family come and hang out. Overall, it was an enjoyable vacation. “We were looking for a place central to BR, Hammond, and Donaldsonville and the Benton properties are perfect. Convenient to get to, but far enough off the beaten path to be super quiet and cozy. The house is super cute, clean, ceiling fans in every room, and did not smell overpoweringly of air freshener as many Vrbos tend to do. We were visiting family in the area and being able to come back to our own space with small children made the trip even better. “Queen beds and twin beds were lumpy, cheap mattresses. Only one bed side table in bedroom with no lamp, had to move a no switch half broke lamp with no way to turn off except unscrewing the bulb to the bedroom. There was another no switch non working lamp occupying space in the living area too. The toilet flange sat up above the flooring, so had to put a piece of cardboard under front lip to keep it from rocking. 2 of the three smoke detectors were awol. Overall I’d say the owner is satisfied……
