Nothing special about this place. Room service is horrible management is not worth a dime. The rooms were never cleaned the week. We were there and their responses. We have to check the cameras cause we don’t believe you. I came down every day to grab toilet paper towels because they never came to my room, but they said they have to check because they don’t believe me management is horrible. I will close with damage in the washer and all they could say is the responsibility of the guest to use the washing machine properly nowhere it says that it’s your responsibility to maintain the washer for that company. Midtown suites is not a place I would recommend even for a place to keep my dog. They weren’t even that busy construction on the first two floors third and fourth floor availability only and to boot I’m disabled and I had to come down every day myself to pick up the items that we needed in the room. We spoke to the manager and he says there’s nothing he can do about the loss of clothes there’s nothing they can do. This has been the worst trip ever. Then it’s not even mentioned that the construction is going on the hotel looks like crap.
All are closed damaged from the Washer that didn’t even wash the clothes

The property is under construction which eliminates breakfast, a room change if necessary, and all the items necessary in your hotel room such as a trash can, iron, and etc. Our door did not lock correctly and the clerk at the front did not believe us so he came up to the room with us and proceeded to slam the door trying to convince us if we closed it hard enough we should be fine. The following day we called the front desk to ask for an iron because there wasn’t one in the room nor a trash can and the clerk assured us he would bring one to our room. 10-15 minutes later we still had no iron so I went to the front desk to retrieve it. The clerk was just chatting with his girlfriend in the back room and proceeded to say he was “about to bring it up” but not actually. The quality of the space outside of the room seems beyond repair and very low quality. One of the nights we were there our friends were dropping us off at the front of the hotel and the clerk was peeking through the lobby windows to watch us for the 5 or so minutes we were saying goodbye. In all, the location of the hotel is great. Beyond that, would not recommend staying here until construction is complete or a new management takes over. We will not be back.

When we got to the property, the construction debris and mess was everywhere. The rooms were not well-cleaned (we found a German roach on the morning of our departure), and the rooms smelled like oily food. The drain disposal was broken so that I did not want to use it, else there be more damage to it. The phone had no instructions on it as to how to communicate with the front desk or our other room. The website said there was a kitchen (the pictures looked much nicer than the reality), but failed to mention that one would need to bring plates, cups, etc. The price was good, but the rooms were not as expected.

Avoid at any cost

This property is one big worksite. You've got contractors working on every floor, gutting rooms and it is a mess with trash in the halls. The power tools and banging start at 7am and continues until 5pm while the laborers blast their cheap radios. The rooms do need an overhaul because they are wornout, outdated, uncomfortable with cheap pressed board furniture and a foul odor, but they should do it in sections and not right next to rooms they are renting out. Note: They charge $20 per night if you have a dog so i paid over $100 a night to stay in a dump. I booked it in advance and couldn't get a refund so i had to endure that dump for an entire week. I saw a total of five other guests that entire week, not including the laborers, who took up the first floor rooms. Avoid this place until construction is complete. Really, they should be required to give advance notice on this website (Hotels.com) warning about the construction in progress. I have lots of photos but this app wouldn't let me load them. I traveled a lot with my career but I've never had a worse experience.
