What a gem! The lovely decor both in the lobby and room was so fun. The 70s vibe while old, all of the furnishings were new and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and sheets very soft. The pool was a lot of fun and having grills, putt putt, ping pong, shuffleboard and swings were nice options. So many great walkable dining options. Mother Earth Brewery (obviously) fantastic and Jay’s 108 was amazing and worth the drive alone. We only live 20 mins away and can’t wait to come back here!

Stayed to catch a baseball game at Grainger. First time here. Excellent price. Cooler vintage property with mini golf, pool, outdoor ping pong, and a generally retro aesthetic. Standard room with king sized bed is a little small, but perfect for one night swinging through Kinston. Set AC to lowest temp (who doesn’t), but room ran a little warm all night. Nonetheless, excellent value, good location, easy to get around downtown Kinston. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the 60’s theme. Staff was great. Room was clean. Being dog friendly was a necessity and I appreciated the bonus of dog treats at the front counter. Mother Earth has a brewery down the street and it was nice to be able to purchase cans of their brews at the front desk. There was construction on the street outside, so the ongoing noise was my only complaint and nothing within the control of the motel. Would definitely stay again.
