It is a pet friendly stay and so there was some dog hair that found us throughout the stay. It wasnt a huge issue as none of us are allergic. If you would have a hard time climbing up ladder to bedroom they have another property next door with a larger and easier accessible bed. The owners live close and were very helpful. we toured with easier access to a larger bed. ”

“This was our second stay at Big Moose Lodge, and it didn’t disappoint. The lodge is spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. Surrounded by 100-year-old pines, the setting is absolutely stunning, and the dock feels like something out of a luxury resort. It’s the perfect spot to relax by the water with unbeatable views. “Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Overlook! Home looks recently renovated (lots of nice windows) & views are wonderful from every room of house! Two full baths (including one upstairs) so all we needed. Very clean & nicely decorated. Conveniently located to everything. Lily Bay State Park nearby & no one there this time of year so great for walking/hiking! Hope to return in Summer months to enjoy that view as million dollar for sure!”
